First the different stages of restoration are presented: analysis of the main causes decay and damages, the various methodologies to apply to each piece to be restored. As lessons are held in a furnished workshop where all kinds of ancient and modern art pieces are continuously restored, during the course it is possible to practice on different materials according to the pieces the workshop team is working on: painting, plaster, stucco, ceramic, terracotta, wax, glass, wood and papier-mâché.
